Denver, Colorado has a thriving performing arts scene with world renown music theatre companies across the state. At the center of it all is the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. In the early seventies Donald Seawell looked at the general area around 14th and Curtis in downtown Denver and got an idea for a first-class arts complex. The facility is now a preferred stop on the Broadway touring circuit and is well known for its acting classes and rental facilities.
